wat a great start for the day. email system in office was down. the person who was handling this is now out of town. my colleague and i took quite some time to realise the root of the cause. the mood for the day was spoilt by this stupid problem. phones keep coming in saying of cannot receive email or email delayed or email was not delivered.
sometimes, pple jus dun understand how to read email. i sent a notification saying we are troubleshooting it, and they jus can't wait. my blood was boiling. argh!
anyway, boss ctc the person in charge (out of town) to trouble-shoot, so somehow the email manage to work. if it doesn't, i believe i wun even hav to go for lunch or even my gym regime.
anyway, as this is over, i head down to gym wit my colleagues. did the usual stuff, with running today. jus feel like it, since i seldom run. after the run, went to take the weight. apparently, my weight is decreasing. seems like a good sign of losing weight. i got to keep it up.
after gym, wen for dinner wit bro zs. had thai food at the food court in bugis. surprising the basil leaf set is not that spicy as before. anyway, after the dinner, left the place and proceed back home. on the way, zs say dat budd is planning to organise maybe a short trip in july. i told him it will depend on my mood then. but seriously, if my mood then is like current, i dun think i'll go.
reach back home, paid bills and start my bro's car. soon he will be back. then i wun hav free car to drive. how sad! dats all for the day.
got home from work late today. was trying to complete some work outstanding before i leave office. reach home, on my lappy chatted with my bro lx. its been a while since we chat. cos he wanted to watch superhero movie, so i told him how is it. he is bz wit his studies, so maybe we can come out aft his exams.
my PC was on to play my usual Granado Espada. initially, it was fine. but after playing for some time, the PC shut down by itself. this has happen before and i have to take out all the parts of the PC to clear the dust. so i did, dismantling basically almost everything. from the PC fan, to the CPU fan itself. even the motherboard was taken out for dust removal.
As i filled the dust into a small plastic, after clearing the dust, i see clumps of dust collated in the bag, hopefully i dun get flu tomorrow, cos i'm quite sensitive to dust. sweat keeps dripping down that i have no choice but to remove my specs.
finally, i managed to clear the dust. fix back the PC and i realised it was 5mins before 11.30pm. After switching on the PC, my sis jus came back from Fort Canning (Stereophonics concert). Then I ask her, isn't it hot at Fort Canning, then she showed me her face. Her eye makeup has started to smudge. So i dun proceed asking her, as she hit the shower room.
now i'm blogging using my lappy. PC is now running fine. hopefully it doesn't shut down in the middle of the night, as i launch Granado Espada for overnight training. ok my head is spinning. tats all for it.
the start of the day was being woke up by my mum to do grocery shopping. it was a sunday, so i tot i cud slp longer. i did not know dat dad is working, if not i wun be woke up by mum as dad will be helping out. has been doing tis for the past few wks alrdy so tis wk is oso not avoidable.
but today, my sis oso tagged along. its seldom dat she wakes up tis early. so drove them to ntuc & also bought breakfast (nasi lemak).
got home soon, and watch the taiwan variety shows and anime. it was a hot day that i sweat while watching the shows. i'm sitting on my bed while watching dat my bed is a little wet becos of my sweat.
buddy was on9 in the afternoon. told her wat has happen this past few days. i felt a little off from my heart.
after i watch halfway of the anime, i watch the movie, p.s. i love you. since i read the book, i wanted to watched the movie. though i find the movie quite different from the book and the pace is rather fast. after watching this, i am watching superhero movie now.
while watching, a cup of drink is good. trying to finish the bailey, since its now quite light. shld be able to finish it soon.
friday nite was supposed the time that i will be going drinking wit bro zs. supposing to locate this chivas live lounge at clarke quay, as they sent the invite since i joined chivas live member. but after searching for close to 1 hour, we decide to walk over to boat quay instead. when we were walking towards boat quay, i stopover this asian fusion bar. outside the place shows a LCD TV wit Joanna Wang (aka 王若琳) in it. Think there is a event organised by Yes 933. It was a live performance for Joanna. She is 1 of the talented singer that I like. Especially her vocals which attracts me. Even my buddy oso likes it. Too bad it was a closed door event, only with invites can enter. But anyway, the event seems to end when we stopover there for ard 10mins. So we continue to proceed on to boat quay.
while walking to boat quay, we came across this super duper long queue to MOS. it was really crazy to be queuing there. I can imagine why there are pple who likes to go in there. Singaporeans really like to queue. This is wat I think.
Soon we reached boat quay, we happened to see this Jazz bar, named Jazz @ Southbridge. It located on the 2nd level. Below it was previously was a Coffee Bean cafe, which now has been converted to a Barracuda bar.
So we walk up to the bar. There are 2 areas in it, 1 is with minimum spending of $25 per person, which is nearer to the Jazz band, the other is without any minimum spending. Since we most likely will be having min 2 drinks, we went to the seats nearer to the Jazz band.
So i start of with ordering Imperial Jade, mix with vodka, creme de cacao, lime juice, kiwi juice. Initially I tot it will be of soury taste, which i prefer, but it was instead a sweet taste. zs ordered a Wyoborawa pear vodka on the rock. When he saw the drinks being served, he feels dat he's being cheated as my drink is of a bigger portion than his. His drink is basically a flavoured vodka with ice. Smells nice but the taste is very concentrated.
while waiting for the jazz band to arrive, my drink is almost dry. so i decide to look at the menu for another drink. there are quite a limited of mixed liquors in the menu. As i dun like the smell of gin, i decide a drink dat is mixed with brandy. the name dun sound good, Muddy Beach Water. Sounds disgusting. zs ordered flavoured magarita of mango taste, and oso ordered fries & wedges. afterall the walk from clarke quay to boat quay consumes quite an amount of energy.
soon the drinks came, my Muddy Beach Water tastes like Bailey Irish Cream. whereas zs's drink taste like slurpee. soon after, the jazz band members starts to arrive. as the vocalist has not arrived yet, they started with playing of music. lately watched a jap drama on classical music, so i'm very attracted to pianist. those slender fingers that can bring nice and smooth music.
anyway, i finished my 2nd drink pretty fast as not much alcohol can be tasted in it. So i order another 1, Cosmopolitan. Sad to say, its another sweet drink. maybe my buddy will like it. Soon the vocalist arrives. She is a lady who got "分量", so her voice has a lot of power. Actually this is the 1st time i've been to a jazz bar, which i like it very much.
I've been listening to jazz music for quite some time. she sang a few songs, from michael buble & frank sinatra. there is 1 song which is the familiar, perhaps. soon the 3rd drink is gone, while zs is still having his 2nd drink. i then got the 4th drink, long island tea, which is also the killer drink of the night. maybe i drank quite fast. the head was getting heavy and heavier.
soon later another band member (guitarist) arrives. we listen for a while before we take off, as the clock is approaching 12 midnight. Thank you zs for footing the bill. Next time it will be my treat. Definitely!
luckily, there is still a train towards woodlands direction, so i dun need to spend $ for night rider.
i slept almost all the way in the train, think if i dun sleep, i may puke. but in between certain stations, i still woke up to check where was i. finally got back home. i quickly have a shower, and jump to my bed straight.
this morning wake up, still abit tipsy. head is still quite heavy. after having breakfast, mum & I went downstairs to wash my bro's car. its been ard 2 wks since we last washed it. my leg hurts again, but this time round its on my left foot. so its another stay home saturday.
tonite will be toking to buddy, will tell her wat actually happen to me this few days.
been acting solo this few days. basically other than work, i try to minimise my toking. even lunching oso was done alone. maybe becos of the weird feeling in me.
maybe i'm too emotional, too much feelings in me that can trigger my tempers easily.
but i think that all these feelings started to come since i've taken tasks not of my origin work last year, and also stress level has built up from time, that i get angry easily. initially i tend to release the stress by hitting walls. but i promised with buddy, so had tried to cut down a lot.
with the high stress level, it actually make tears to flow out, but i have tried to hold them in, and not showing it in front of anyone, only letting it roll when i'm alone. thats why i dun feel like toking when i had that feeling.
this feeling was back again today, all becos of work. dun really like to do the current work in my current office, i would prefer doing programming. stress from programming at least will be of a different type, a challenging one and not as worst as current one.
becos of these mixture of feelings today, i din go for the movie that my buddy asked me to go. initially she called me using office phone, so i pick up the phone, unknowingly who was it as the number was masked. she kips telling me that i can go for a free movie, as another colleague was not feeling well to go. i told her dat i shld not be gng as my mood not feeling well. i hanged up her phone and she dropped me a sms stating where is the meeting place. but i was not feeling good, so wen to HMV. slow music will heal my feelings. thats what i believed. so i head straight to the jazz department. after listening to some of the albums, i find them nice, so grab them from the shelf, total of 3 jazz genre CD & 1 jap CD. as i was listening to the CD before i purchased, buddy starts to call me, total of 5 calls, which i dun picked up as i dun feel like toking. she drop me a sms asking me to reply her or answer her phone. i did not reply immediately.
i later then walk along orchard road and sit down on 1 of those benches. then i replied her of how i felt at the moment. at that instance, i saw the skies are dark, which represents my feelings at the moment. i sat there hoping the feelings will subside. after sitting there like a idiot for ard 15 mins, i decided to walk to cine's arcade, maybe after a few games i will feel better. but i still dun feel quite well, so i change my mind and walk to the mrt station.
anyway all these feelings are all caused by work. since appraisal is coming, i will make clear to my boss on these, hoping he will understand. thats all for today.
it seems things are failing me. especially the bluetooth stereo headphone dat i had, its broken.
so sad, so i changed to using handsfree. but even the handsfree is failing me.
the cables is exposing and the sound is failing oso.
so its back to using IPOD Shuffle. but the ear phone dat i bought from shure is going to fail too. the wire is exposing oso, so i hav using scotch tape to cover it for the time being. hopefully i will be covered under the warranty. but thinking of sending it for warranty it far. its somewhere in ubi, veri far frm my hse. so i still think twice abt it.
even my lappy is showing symptoms. sometimes restart by itself, sometimes the screen flickers. hope dat it wun fail so fast. cos i depend on it to do work, actually more for entertainment.
these past weekends are a lazy one for me. been staying at home, clearing dramas dat i haven't seen 公主小妹 is one of them. now watching 阿旺新传，which is showing on Chnl 8 oso. but i'm a slow watcher. cos i prefer watching jap dramas the most, taiwan dramas 2nd, hkg drama 3rd. korean dramas are not my cup of tea, maybe its too draggy.
anyway, leg is recovering, so i can continue with my gym regime next wk.
back to weekends, other than playing Granado Espada, watching dramas, sleeping will be the other activity for the weekend. been moody oso, so calls were not picked up by me.
been thinking wat to do for my 1 wk leave in may. since i wun be gng for holiday, i haf to think of wat to do, since its 4 days of the week dat i am taking leave.
i think i will get a new haircut and color, take it as a treat for myself as a bday present.

today is a bad start. early morning wake up felt a pain at my right achilles. tot dat it will go off, so wen off to work. when i reaching ofc, i think its too serious, cos i'm limping my way thr.
so i decide to see a doc, and got a MC. but the strange thing is the MC says i got tension headache, instead something related to my leg. and oso medication given includes gastric pain. i dun recall telling the doc abt having gastric pain & headache.
aft clearing my things in ofc, i make my way back hm. wen to buy a ankle support and lunch back.
then spend the day at hm. lunch was not filling, so had cup noodles to make it full. think lunch was filling dat i fall asleep. had a nap and woke up 2 hrs ltr.
i was wondering is it dat pple know dat i'm sleeping. aft waking up, msn msg & calls came in. so accurate!
saw a sms from buddy with her concerns of me. thanks for concern buddy. anyway i made up my mind for not going to holiday in may, aft looking my bank acct, although pay jus got in. told jo abt my decision and will try to save up for jap trip in oct instead.
hopefully i will recover fast. or else will miss my gym regime for next wk.

buddy derline was back frm her leave. its been awhile since she's back in ofc she got me a souvenir from hkg, a lighter of number 8 cue ball. thanks for the souvenir. it adds on to my lighter collection.
today been a whole day of meeting. morning had a dept meeting, with 2 other colleagues joining our team. we had lunch at japanese food at IP, compliment from my boss as a welcome lunch for the 2 colleagues. then at 3pm, had another meeting with our head office folks, discussing on the feedback for a product, which lasts to 6pm.
i tot of leaving ofc early today, so didn't stay too late. left ard 6.30pm wit zc. on the way to mrt, zc asks if i wanted to go overseas during May period. since he had applied leave the same period as mine. i was still thinking whether to go or not.
anyway, the feeling of being alone is coming to me lately. dats y i dun haf a answer for the trip. intially tot of jus getting the leave and disappear for the week, w/o answering any phone calls from work or frens, since my bday falls on dat wk. even tot of changing my looks oso, e.g getting a new hair color.
but all those are things dat r floating in my mind, and has not materialise. even i had the tot of not going for my buddy bday dat time. jus tot of passing her gift to someone, and help mi pass to her. dats my initial thoughts though, which is not the same in reality.
but maybe i will get the hair color done for my bday, so dat i will start afresh, looking new. so i'm still thinking whether i shld go or not. anyway few issues wit gng the trip.
1) $$$. been running low in dat, since i've spend quite a sum for the past 1 mth. 2) place to go. dun really feel like going out for a trip. even if i wan to go, i wish to jus go alone. although the price will be ex for 1 pax.
i guess i'm oso a indecisive person who takes a veri long time to make a decision.
went 4 billiard in the saturday afternoon wit zc. its been quite a long time since i went for billiard. lucky the skills have not gone rusty, still is maintaining. played around 9 games and wen down to funan to get a gift for colleague
took a bus thr. it was a long ride b4 reaching funan. aft buying the gift, we went to sakae sushi for dinner.

ok here goes with the entry.
so after the buffet lunch, we wen to the bowling alley, upstairs for the safra mount faber. as there are competitions gng on, we hav to wait for the lanes to be freed up.
while waiting, we played those arcade games & those catch doll machine. as usual, buddy derline is impatient to see her bday gifts. she opened up even the card dat i pass to her. after waiting for ard 20mins, we got 2 free lanes for bowling.
jo tot dat her nails may break, so she did not play along wit us. so left the 6 of us playing bowling. indeed, nails will break as buddy broke her, the thumb nail.

aft the games of bowling, we made our way to the Harry's@Boat Quay. we took a bus there and on the way, buddy called filza & farah to wait at the bus-stop at IP and board the bus when we arrived.
Soon we reached Boat Quay. While walking towards Boat Quay, we took some photos along the way.
When we reach Harry's, becos there were too many people, which we initially planned, we moved further to this place called the Cavern Singapore.
As they have Hoegaarden, we ordered straight 1 for buddy, 1 for mi and 1 for zc. becos zc got cls ltr dat evening, he onli drank ard 1/2 of it.
Ard 7+, adrian & sheena came and join us. alot of them said my face was red by then. i told them my face will get red easily after jus a few drinks.

some interesting thing happened as filza accidentally dropped her heels and sani happened to pick it up. so we asked sani to help her wear her heels.
total we ordered quite a few of drinks and a jug of chivas green tea. though i find the chivas taste not much. at ard 8+, jo & farah left the crowd and left ard 9 of us.
when we finished the drinks, we left the place at around 8+, almost 9 and we head over to central, for those who are having dinner. filza left awhile later as she's meeting her fren
i dun feel hungry, so i nvr had dinner. as budd saw sani is having dessert, she tot of buying old chang kee, as she realised that sani did not ate much ovr lunch. so i accompany her to find the shop, which suppose to be at basement.
we had a short chat while looking for the shop, and she said she's finding a shop called the celeste. as our main objective was to find old chang kee, we did not look much for the celeste. buddy, i manage to find it, it is in central of unit 03-58. you can go thr when u free.
we went down to basement, and found that there is no old chang kee on the directory. so we wen back to the food court to find the rest.
those who are eating were eating, while the rest were stoning.
we sat there for some time, and as the food court is closing at 10pm, we left ard dat time. we went 2 lvl 1 of central, deciding whr to go, so we sat down at the mini chairs of central.
zc called ltr, finding whr we are gng, i pass my phone to buddy, and he told her dadi to jus come ovr. in the end, we sat down thr all the way jus toking.
time slowly passes, making its way to 11pm, adrian asks mi if i'm gng to washroom, so i join him. in the end, he's planning to get a cake for her. sani oso tagged along, thinking we are gng washroom. then when we told him dat we r finding cake, he sian 1/2 and wen on his own.
adrian suggested to go to liang court to find cake and indeed we walked ovr, but can't find any stall, so i suggested to jus go in to Mc and buy a Oreo cheesecake.
now we are short of candles. adrian then says to try riverside point. so i jus follow him, as we walk, we found the shop Haagen Das is opened. so we asked the person, if they hav candles for sale. the sales person is kind enuf to pass us the candles and the happy birthday tag for free. really appreciated it for the help.
it was onli ard a 1/4 pass 11, which is still early for her bday. we slowly make our way back as both of us are sweating, especially me, like having a shower. sheena called ltr where we are, so adrian and I are like playing catching, try not to let derline saw the both of us. we sneaked behind the pillar near whr she is seated and bring the "cake" to her.
we sing her a Happy Birthday song and she made her wishes later, which were being interrupted by sani. after her wishes, we took a grp photo
after that, each of us took a photo with her, eating the "cake". after finishing the cake, we were told by the security guard to leave, as they are closing the building.
as janson will be picking her up, we walked to the bus-stop outside of central and waited. soon all of them dispersed as their buses arrived, i also left before janson arrives, leaving adrian, zc and derline. b4 i left, i wish her a happy birthday and send her a SMS at the strike of midnight on the bus back.
Derline, hope that you like this year's birthday celebration. now my stomach still feels a bit "windy" frm the inside. hope that i'll get well soon.
its 3am in the morning, jus ended the msn conversation with budd derline. cos she got to go for the cemetry at 6am, so i ask her to sleep, while i start the blog entry. basically tis blog entry will be abt her birthday celebration dat we gt for her on Friday. As a lot of things will be covered, it will be break into 2 parts. So here goes.
The day starts with me meeting with zc at Safra Mount Faber. we plan to hav some games of billiard b4 mting the gang, but too bad that they are closed, so we wen for a couple of bowling games instead.
aft couple rounds of 洗垄沟, we decided to give up and try our luck, hoping the billiard saloon is opened, but in vain. so we jus waited at the lobby and the gang arrived at 1.30pm.
as usual, once the camera is out, the mascot will want to hav his shots taken.
While in the midst of waiting for the last member of the gang and seats for the lunch, some photos were taken.
While taking the photos, zs called and said that he's at the top of Mount Faber. I called him straight away and I told him that we are not there, so he had to make he's way down to find us. So, we went in to the japanese buffet restaurant, Himawari, at Safra Mount Faber 1st. As the restaurant is closing at 3pm & last order is at 2.30pm, we made the food orders 1st. Before the food has arrived, the last member arrives. Ice water was served for him, as it was a hot sunny day, and walk quite a distance.
Soon after, food are served and they are placed along the whole table. Yummy!
as we are eating, some shots were taken. But the usual 自拍王后 got a shy side oso, dun wan her photo to be taken. Maybe it wasn't me who is taking the photos. haha
after the meals, we took photos with the bday gurl, individually & oso as a grp. individual photos are all in my photo album.
its another day that I hate, Flu day. can really defeat this virus, it just keeps coming and coming. luckily its still under control everytime, jus nid to haf a gd rest but i slept quite early ytd, ard 10+. knocked out when i was chatting 1/2 way with budd maybe the previous nite i did not haf enuf rest
on top of flu, i had a sore left eye now. i'm still thinking whether i shld go for gym later. maybe ltr i go army market for a while, to look for a pouch that is secured at the thigh if i'm able to find it, then i dun nid to ask my budd to find for mi in hkg
stomach is grumbling now, think i nid 2 eat alot as i'm getting hungry becos of flu. now waiting for colleagues to come back frm lunch b4 i go for mine
