update for the 1st wkends of 2009 (Monday, January 5, 2009)

while waiting for my hair to dry, i am updating on the recent happenings over the wkend.
Saturday morning was playing GE wit ZS & ZC. We were doing spotlight lvl1. Trying to clear them as I have around 40 of them, now leaving 28 left. It was chicken feet for both me & ZS, since we have veteran chars, ZC will be struggling if he do it alone. But with the help of us, he managed to up his character by 4 lvls, quite impressive.
After lunch was out for billiard with ZC. arrived early as he was stuck in a traffic jam, so started with a few games. trying to master my ball placement skills, which i somehow manage to understand it, after i read abt a book last Tuesday at Kinokuniya. soon he arrive & we started playing. i tink i am back to the top of the curve again, as i did quite gd whereby i managed to get 31 points in 1 break. i wonder how long can i maintain as i know myself dat my skills is like a curve. Once I reached to the top of the curve, i will drop to the bottom eventually. jus hope dat i can find a way to maintain at the top always.
left the WCRC ard 5+ as i got another appt in woodlands. met up wit YT, XY, HJ & CK for dinner at jack's place. the service at the jack's place was not that gd. the waiters & waitresses seem like acting bz wen i try to make order.
after the dinner we wen to catch the movie: bedtime stories. it was a very hilarious movie especially the looks of the guinea pig, really cute. will post the review some other time.
after the movie, XY wen off 1st, with the rest of us go to Toast Box. The seat was like not so good as it was shaky & may be broken anytime. So i was like have to sit still & try not apply too much body weight. chill there for a couple of hrs, chit-chatting of organising the gathering & oso some 八卦 of me. YT started it as she ask me during the BBQ on New Year Day near YL hse. She was like why like dat. I dun feel like explaining too much, so ask her to read the blog instead.
CK was the nxt target, as he wen out wit a girl to Swissotel at lvl 70. We were like showing our "concern" but actually more of curiosity. He oso ask if we wanted to watch Break-Out, the B-Boy dance & show at esplanade. We were like find it ok & decide tentatively to watch it on Eve of V-day.
Wen hm aft dat & was chatting with JY over msn. Saw her blog entry & i was like quite curious in wat her mum say abt me. later the updated version explains more of it... but i was like dun know where the courage came frm & ask her again...
Though tis time round she did reject me, she oso nvr give me an answer. but at least the way she reply me, i was like feeling quite delighted, as i still stand a chance... hehe.
maybe partly due to the cups of Kopi-O i had earlier in Toast Box, i was very awake. then she was like told me it cud be due to the thoughts dat i'm having. but wateva the reason is, i was feeling happy... in the end i wen to slp at ard 4am...
Sunday was like woke up quite early at 8am, somehow dun feel tired, maybe becos of the conversation wit JY. woke up early to watch finish 射雕英雄传. i was like left with 2 episodes so jus complete it. will write the review later. once i finished watching it, i starting to proceed with the 3rd part of spring cleaning. cleared the CDs section of my cupboard. realised that i have bought so many CDs. i should tink abt wat 2 do wit dem, cos some of them i dun listen to it.
JY was on9 later & was starting her spring cleaning as well. chit-chatted with her abit den she planned 2 make a trip down to Ikea as her chair is broken & needs to change the seat. so accompany her later in the afternoon. after my cleaning, tink partly not enuf rest, as onli 4hrs slp, so i dozed off & woke up to realised it was 3.30pm. i was like "damn, i haven't have my lunch & shower yet". lucky my mum was out to shop for new curtains, so nvr bug mi to shower & lunch. soon after JY msg mi the time of meeting, so i quickly dash to shower rm & had my lunch, den left the hse. luckily i was still early, tinking i mayb late as i was paying bills for sis
Ikea is indeed environmental friendly, no plastic bag are given. so we make our way back to JY hse, left the stuff & proceed to the nxt destination. Initially she wanted to go bugis to look for HP, but change her mind to parkway parade, which i dun mind, cos i dun go there often. we took a walk there & luckily it was not too sunny so it was not too tough for mi. if not, i tink i may be "drenched" by then. soon we reached the place & looking for HP at the Hello Shop. dun know if its too popular or wat, the 2 models dat she planned to look for were both out of stock. so she put her HP change on hold & told me maybe it was a hint to her to not spend $$$. i was like "ok, mayb 老天爷 wan u to spend it on smtg else"
we walked ard abit & settle our dinner at sakae sushi. didn't eat too much as it was getting late. aft dat walk past a feng shui shop which sells those displays & accessories like key chains & handphone straps. JY bought me & herself the same design but colour based by our Zodiac. it was like so coincidence dat the 2 colours dat she took were jus nice, both mine & her Zodiac. after making the payment, we walk back together, and it was like more "happening" now at tis hrs & oso smell. can smell the otah from the otah shop dat she said was nice. aft taking the lift up & see her back to her hse, i make my way back.
quite a enjoyable day, though lots of walking, but it was the company that counts.
ok better slp now or else i become a zombie later again...
