weekend was busy shopping for CNY clothings. After my class on Saturday, had lunch at Amoy Street with my favourite sliced fish noodle. Met up with ZC & head down to Iluma@Bugis. Both of us were looking for a pair of suitable shoes. ZC tried a few pairs but do not had the size that he liked. Head down to Parco Bugis Junction next. Its not easy to find a pair of suitable shoes, that I agreed. After having a long search, thought of having steamboat buffet before the crowd starts. So we went to have our dinner at a steamboat restaurant.
After the sumptuous meal, we head down to the Bugis arcade & watched people playing games. After that, we took a slow walk to Peninsula Shopping Centre. Came across this shop near Coleman St that sells shoes. There were 2 brands that caught my attention: Lacoste & Puma. But think I had too full for dinner, so don't feel like trying out the shoes. We later then head down to Raffles Shopping City, trying to find the shoes from Levi's that caught ZC's eye. Too bad that they don't have the design that he fond of. In the end we call it a day & head home.
Sunday help my cousin with her laptop. Apparently, it seems that her 5 yrs laptop had retired to function. Help her removed the hard disk & fixed it to my external hard disk enclosure & gave it to her. After that head down to Central to meet up with ZC. We continued with the shopping of the ONE shoe, which he finally got the feel for the shoe. 1st to make the purchase of the shoes at this shop, Matsu. Later then meet up with JR at Peninsula Shopping Centre. While waiting for him to arrive, we walked around the building to search for clothes & my ONE shoe. Quite alot of shops that sell shoes & they were quite similar design. I wondered how they can make a living with so many competitors around. Soon JR arrived & he is quick at his decision. Head to the shop that had the shoe he liked. After trying a few pairs, he made the purchase. So that left me who has not purchased.
Later we walked back to the same shop that I saw the Lacoste & Puma shoes. But strangely, I had no feeling for it, wondering if being full will make a change to the appetite. Later then, we walked down to Plaza Singapura as Raffles City Shopping Centre is too costly with the brands. Before reaching PS, we walked to The Cathay. Not much shops for fashion wear. Came across this stall that sells accessories. I was intending to look for a new bracelet for myself as the previous 1 I've got is starting to get loose. Afraid that I will lose it, I decided to keep it at home as it has sentimental feelings for me. Well, there were too many people in the shop which make me no feeling to buy. Moreover, there is only 1 helper inside.
After that we headed down to PS. Both me & JR were trying to persuade ZC to make a change in his design & colour sense, which was not a easy task. He still not open to too colourful or special design & keeps on thinking of buying clothes that he could wear in office. Haiz... really cannot take it. In the end he bought a long sleeve shirt. Think the only person that really shopped was ZC, as he bought a pair of shoes, socks & a new shirt. It was left with me who has not made any purchase. After dinner, we decided to move on to walk towards Orchard area. Came across this shop that looks similar to the one near Coleman St. Design was quite similar but the price was very different. For a pair of Puma shoes that cost around $120+, it was priced at $90+. What a good offer. I tried to find a pair that managed to attract me. But sadly, there isn't a size for me. In the end have to settle to one that had the Ferrari logo. But hey, I got my shoe also! So it was not empty-handed home for me too.
Well I think I've got to stop splurging cos this month's CC bill gonna kill. Lucky for me there is a 13th month bonus, or else sure gotta eat bread. Ok thats for the weekend updates
